The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
