Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
