The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
