The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
