We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
