Prostration
< random >
Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 and covered them with torment. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 while you make merry? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him. (Command of Prostration # 12) ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
