We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
