The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 and you shall be three bands -- 7 So those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few from the latter. 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 And spreading shade, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 And abundant fruit, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 and upraised couches. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
