Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 And We send down water as a blessing from the sky, and grow gardens with it and the grain for harvest, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
