And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
