The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
