The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
