The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
