The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
