Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
