۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
