The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
