۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
