The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
