The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they sat by it 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
