And when Moses said unto his servant: I will not give up until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I march on for ages. 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 and there they found one of Our servants upon whom We had bestowed Our mercy, and to whom We had imparted a special knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you, so that you may guide me by what you have been taught?" 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 And how shouldst thou bear patiently that thou hast never encompassed in thy knowledge?' 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
