The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
