The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
