O you who believe! Eat not Riba (usury) doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 And have fear of the Fire which awaits those who deny the Truth. 131 and obey God and the Messenger; haply so you will find mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to the for-giveness of your Lord and to a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the God-fearing. 133 Those who spend in Allah’s cause, in happiness and in grief, and who control their anger and are forgiving towards mankind; and the righteous are the beloved of Allah. 134 And those who, when they commit an immoral act or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness of their sins – and who forgives sins except Allah? And those who do not purposely become stubborn regarding what they did. 135 Those, their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. How excellent is the wage of those who labor. 136 There are many examples [of the communities] that have passed away before you: travel through the land, and see what was the end of those who rejected the Truth. 137 This is a clear statement for men, and a guidance and an admonition to those who guard (against evil). 138 Faint not nor grieve, for ye will overcome them if ye are (indeed) believers. 139 If ye have received a blow, the (disbelieving) people have received a blow the like thereof. These are (only) the vicissitudes which We cause to follow one another for mankind, to the end that Allah may know those who believe and may choose witnesses from among you; and Allah loveth not wrong-doers. 140 And so that Allah may purify* the believers, and destroy the disbelievers. (* Forgive them their sins, if any.) 141 Or, deem ye that ye shall enter the Garden while yet Allah hath not known those of you who have striven hard nor yet known the steadfast! 142 And you used to wish for death before you met it; so now you see it before your eyes. 143
