Verily We! it is We Who have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Verily those love the herein, and leave in front of them a heavy day. 27 It was We who created them and made their constitution strong, but if We wish we can replace them with others like them. 28 Surely this is a reminder, so whoever pleases takes to his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way]: for, behold, God is indeed all-seeing, wise. 30 He is Merciful to whom He will; but, for the harmdoers He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
