So when the apostles came to Lut's followers, 61 He said: Surely you are an unknown people. 62 They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing, 63 “And we have brought to you a true command, and indeed we are truthful.” 64 "So leave with your family late in the night, yourself remaining in the rear, and let none turn back to look, and go where you will be commanded." 65 And We informed him the decision of this command, that at morning the root of the disbelievers would be cut off. 66 The inhabitants of the city came in (mad) joy (at news of the young men). 67 He said: Lo! they are my guests. Affront me not! 68 Fear God and do not shame me." 69 They said; Have we not forbidden you from (entertaining) anyone? 70 [Lout (Lot)] said: "These (the girls of the nation) are my daughters (to marry lawfully), if you must act (so)." 71 Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication, they wander in distraction, to and fro. 72 So the rumbling overtook them (while) entering upon the time of sunrise; 73 And We utterly confounded them, and We rained upon them stones of heated clay. 74 Surely, in that there are signs for those who contemplate. 75 And the (cities were) right on the high-road. 76 In this there is evidence (of the Truth) for the believers. 77 And the dwellers of the thicket also were most surely unjust. 78 So, We took vengeance on them. They are both on an open highway, plain to see. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
