▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a book that is protected 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 If he is among the near 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
