Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 On a straight path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
