The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (Allah) Most Gracious! 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He created man, 3 and He taught him speech. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning, 5 and the stars and the trees all prostrate themselves, 6 And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance 7 In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. 8 And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance. 9 And He appointed the earth for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates] 11 And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance. 12 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 13 He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery 14 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 18 He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together, 19 Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. 20 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 21 Pearls and corals come from both. 22 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 23 His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains. 24 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
