Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
