The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
(Muhammad), read in the name of your Lord who created (all things). 1 created the human from a (blood) clot. 2 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 He taught the human being what he did not know. 5 Indeed, surely the human is very insolent 6 that he sees himself sufficed. 7 However, (all things) will return to your Lord. 8 Hast thou seen him who dissuadeth 9 A votary when he turns to his devotions? 10 What will happen if the praying person is rightly guided 11 or if he commands others to maintain piety!? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Is he then unaware that Allah seeth? 14 Nay, if he desist not, We shall most surely drag him down upon his forehead 15 A forelock, lying, sinning. 16 Then, let him call his assembly, 17 We will call the guards of Hell (to deal with him)! 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
Almighty God's Truth.
