Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
