Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
