Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
