We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
