So by oath of the things you see. 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
