Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
