The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
