Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
