Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
