The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
