By no means! By the moon, 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning for people -- 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
