Behold, thy Lord called Moses: "Go to the people of iniquity,- 10 The folk of Pharaoh. Will they not ward off (evil)? 11 He said, “My Lord, I fear that they will deny me.” 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 They also have a sin against me, and I fear they will slay me.' 14 Allah said: "Nay! Go you both with Our Signs. Verily! We shall be with you, listening. 15 Go to Pharaoh, both of you, and say, 'We are messengers from the Lord of the Worlds: 16 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" 17 The Pharaoh said, "Did we not bring you up in our home as an infant and did you not live with us for many years 18 "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" 19 Moses said: "I did it then, when I was in error. 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, if you can believe." 24 (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Did ye not listen (to what he says)?" 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 'He is the Lord of the East and the West' said he (Moses), 'and all that is between them, if you could understand' 28 Pharaoh said: "If you take any god other than me, I will certainly make you one of those (who are rotting) in prison." 29 Moses said: "Even if I were to bring a Clear Sign to you?" 30 Pharaoh said: "Then bring it if you are truthful at all." 31 So (Moses) cast his staff, and lo, it turned into a living serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders. 33
