▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 Whom neither a man or jinn had ever touched before them. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
