The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Hast thou not observed what wise thy Lord dealt with the fellows of the elephant? 1 Did He not cause their war to end in confusion, 2 And send against them swarms of flying creatures, 3 which smote them with stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained, 4 Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up. 5
God the Almighty always says the truth.
