We did deliver aforetime the Children of Israel from humiliating Punishment, 30 from Pharaoh; surely he was a high One, of the prodigals; 31 And certainly We chose them, having knowledge, above the nations. 32 and sent them revelations of which some were a clear trial for them. 33 Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying, 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful." 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals. 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We have created them for a genuine purpose, but most people do not know. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 Apart from those to whom God is kind. He is all-mighty and all-merciful. 42
