Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And that which ye see not. 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
