The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 Therefore We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue. They may haply take a warning. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
