Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children? 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
