And the Satan will say when the affair hath been decreed: verily Allah promised you a promise of truth; and I promised you, then I failed; and I had over you no authority, save that I called you and ye answered me; wherefore reproach me not but reproach yourselves. I am not going to succour you nor are ye going to succour me: verily I disbelieve in your having associated me afore. Verily the wrong-doers! for them is a torment afflictive. 22 But those who believed and did good deeds will be brought into Gardens with rivers flowing through them. They shall abide there forever by their Lord's permission, and will be welcomed with the greeting, "Peace"! 23 Have you not seen how Allah sets forth a parable that a good deed is like a good tree, its roots are firm and its branches are in the heaven, 24 It brings forth its fruit at all times, by the leave of its Lord. So Allah sets forth parables for men, in order that they may receive admonition. 25 An evil act is like a rotten tree torn out of the earth with no (base or) firmness. 26 Allah confirms those who believe with the sure word in this world's life and in the hereafter, and Allah causes the unjust to go astray, and Allah does what He pleases. 27

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
